A 29-year-old woman was sentenced to 18 months in jail on Friday after driving down an Ohio highway drunk and almost completely naked.

Erin B. Holdsworth was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license, and fleeing and eluding following the October incident.

She had led police on a car chase along route 422 at speeds of up to 128mph before being arrested in Auburn Township, wearing only fishnet stockings, a g-string and high heels.

Officers used stingers along the highway to disable two of Holdsworth's tyres and she was forced to pull over on the side of the road a short time later.

When they approached her vehicle, the nearly-naked woman got out and staggered across the road before she was handcuffed.

Holdsworth was compliant in the arrest but once in the back of the patrol car she lost her cool, trying to break out of windows and thrashing about.

She 'kicked and beat her head on the glass and everything,' said Bainbridge Police Chief Jon Bokovitz.

Holdsworth will spend at least 10 months behind bars, according to the News-Herald, and was fined $525.

Six months of her sentence were suspended by Judge Terri L. Stupica and she will get credit for the two months she already spent locked up, the Huffington Post reported.

Holdsworth at first posted bond and was granted driving privileges in January so she could go to work and take her children to school.

But in July she tested positive for THC, a chemical found in cannabis, and was ordered to remain in jail until her sentencing.
